Community support keeps our doors open and our services strong. A portion of our operating costs comes from the fundraising efforts we share with the people around us—and every dollar raised helps women and children move toward safety, healing, and hope.

Your support helps us:

Keep our emergency shelter open 24/7
Keep our support line staffed 24/7
Offer counselling, advocacy, and transitional support
Expand our programs to meet urgent and changing needs
Fill funding gaps so no survivor is ever turned away when they reach out for help
When you donate, host a fundraiser, or give monthly, you’re not just raising money—you’re changing lives.

Get involved today and be part of the community that’s making real, lasting change.

Leave a Legacy

After your loved ones have been taken care of, consider a bequest in your will or other planned gift through your estate to support WRRC.

You Help Make a Difference

We receive approximately 75% of our operating budget from government sources, the remainder of our annual budget comes from the kindness and generosity of donors, foundations and revenue-generating initiatives. View our Financial Statements on our Annual Report 2023-2024.

A donation to WRRC directly supports women and children of rural Middlesex County who reach out to WRRC for support. This could mean a safe warm place to stay, support in making a decision about a new beginning, navigating the complicated court and housing systems, and provides basic needs in a crisis, or a new teddy bear for a frightened child. We couldn’t do it without you.
